The Denver Nuggets are in a win-now mode in the Western Conference. This is a group of teams that is only going to improve and the Nuggets need to make some moves if they want to keep up.
The loss of Jamal Murray was big and it reared its head during the playoffs last season.
The Nuggets did not go out to get help at the point guard position and this was to be expected. Now, they could be looking for that perimeter threat to help them over the course of the season. This would be especially important in the stretch and come postseason time.
Denver is still good enough to get to the playoffs as a high seed in the West but might need some help to advance during the most important time of the year.
