Thaddeus Young was traded to the San Antonio Spurs this past NBA offseason as part of the sign-and-trade deal that sent DeMar DeRozan to the Chicago Bulls, but Young could already be on his way out the door in San Antonio.

The Spurs are rebuilding and have no use for veteran players on their roster, hence why Young has barely played for them this year.

The last thing this organization wants to happen is for Thaddeus Young to get hurt on the floor, thus dropping his trade value down to nothing. They are wanting to move Young at some point this season, but are waiting for the right trade to come their way right now.

Now in his 15th season in the NBA, the veteran big man has always been a really reliable frontcourt player and is coming off a great season with the Chicago Bulls last year in which he averaged 12.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.1 steals, and shot 55.9% from the floor.

Let’s take a look at three teams who may not only be interested in trading for the Spurs’ veteran forward but could put together a really solid trade offer for Thaddeus Young.
