Would this trade make sense for the Golden State Warriors?
It is clear that Golden State built its success from the three-point range. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson are two of the best shooters of all time and with both back in the lineup, the team can get back to what they do best.
Buddy Hield would bring some more firepower from beyond the arc and that is always a benefit. Perhaps, the Warriors’ three-point shooting capabilities could be genuinely overwhelming for opposing teams at times when each of those sharpshooters are clicking.
Hield has turned into one of the best shooters in the league. He was moved to the bench last season in favor of Bogdan Bogdanovic. When Bogdanovic went to Atlanta, Hield had to move back into the starting lineup and contributed in a big way. This is a big trade that would point both sides in the right direction.
The Warriors would get another shooter and scorer on the perimeter while Hield could finally have a chance to contribute to a contender. Let’s not forget, Jordan Poole is expected to have a breakout season and would still remain in the fold after Wiggins’ departure.

The Warriors will only improve with the addition of Buddy Hield. They do not need him to be a contender but it would not hurt, especially with the improvements that teams in the Western Conference have made.
