Would this trade make sense for the Washington Wizards?
The Washington Wizards snuck into the postseason as the eighth seed this year but it was clear they were not championship contenders. With Russell Westbrook out of the equation, the Wizards will not be able to make another run this year and that is why trading Beal should be a legitimate possibility.
When looking at the return they would get, they still could be a no-brainer for Washington. Collin Sexton and Jarrett Allen are starting-caliber players that could contribute right away.
Osman has experience coming off the bench and first-round draft capital is like gold to rebuilding teams. Including Osman is primarily for salary matching purposes in this instance.
The Wizards had their days when Beal and John Wall were winning some games but were never able to get to championship level. The franchise is very far away from that now and should focus on completely retooling the roster.

With yet another mediocre season on the horizon, the Wizards face a golden opportunity to get some assets for one of the best players in the NBA. It would not be surprising to see Bradley Beal flipped for a plethora of assets that could help Washington in the future.
