Would this trade make sense for the Philadelphia 76ers?
If Ben Simmons is going to be traded, the Philadelphia 76ers would benefit from getting a point guard who can put the ball in the basket.
While Malcolm Brogdon is not one of the best scorers in the game, he is as consistent as they come on both ends of the floor. He is extremely reliable from the free-throw line and could score at all three levels.
Brogdon is the exact type of point guard that the Sixers should be looking to add with Joel Embiid, who signed a contract extension this offseason.
Brogdon would be able to set Embiid up in a position to be successful. Jeremy Lamb would bring some more depth and draft capital is always valuable for a team in the NBA, especially in the first round.

Brogdon would be an immediate upgrade on the offensive end from Simmons. This was the downfall for the Sixers in the postseason in which Brogdon could help turn that around right away.
