Would this trade make sense for the Indiana Pacers?
The Indiana Pacers have been one of the staples in the postseason for years now. However, that came to an end last season after an injury-riddled campaign resulted in an early exit in the NBA play-in tournament.
The objective is clear for the Pacers, at this point. It’s time to break up the double-big frontcourt combination of Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner while shifting to a legitimate identity around one of them. Sabonis appears to be the pick for who to keep.
Jerami Grant would be an ideal fit alongside Sabonis at the four spot. He not only has every bit of impact a team would like as a ‘3-and-D’ option. he showed last season with the Detroit Pistons that he’s capable of making an offensive impact far beyond that.
With two years left on his contract, the Pacers could include him in their plans moving forward. This would bring a new dynamic to Indiana and one that could help turn things around. The Pacers have a chance to make moves in the East if they can add another impact performer.

Making a trade is a chance for an elite front office to continue improving the team. Making a trade for Jerami Grant would go a long way for both Grant and the Pacers.
