Would this trade make sense for the Detroit Pistons?

The Detroit Pistons made it clear that they want to move their veteran names. Derrick Rose was traded to New York and Blake Griffin agreed to a buyout with the team. This set the Pistons’ sights set on a full rebuild and that is the way they are going now with Cade Cunningham.

The Oklahoma State product is one of the best prospects in recent memory. He is a point guard with great size that can score and handle the ball in transition. What goes well with that is some more help in the backcourt.

Bey is a small forward and Kuzma would take over as the steady option at the power forward spot. Kuzma showed plenty with the Lakers but was never one of the upper echelon players offensively. This is what he could turn into in an extended role.

Kuzma showed flashes and the Pistons could take advantage of his value. He fits into the plan moving forward for the organization. Avdija is a young player that could benefit from a change of scenery moving forward while Caldwell-Pope is a short-term, veteran option who does not pose a risk.
