1. Sixers finally make Conference Finals
It was a severely disappointing season for the Philadelphia 76ers last year. They finished with the best record in the East but failed to make the conference finals. They were eliminated on their home floor in game seven by the Atlanta Hawks.
Once Simmons is traded, this will be a huge problem out of the organization. This will already make the team better when looking at the addition by subtraction.
With Joel Embiid leading the way in would hope will hopefully be a healthy season. The Sixers can return to the top of the Eastern Conference. Come postseason time, they have a team that is built a win right away if all players contribute the way they are capable of.
It will be important for the Sixers to avoid the Brooklyn Nets at all cost and if they do, they could meet in the conference finals.
