Rui Hachimura took steps in the right direction in his development last season for the Washington Wizards.
While Hachimura only shot 32.8 percent from deep in 2020-21, it was a major improvement from his rookie season. He also upped his scoring from 13.5 points to 13.8 points last season.
Kuzma could become the third-best player for the Wizards, but Hachimura will have something to say about that.
During the Tokyo Olympics, Hachimura looked fantastic for Japan despite not having a chance to play in the medal games.

Even though we’ve seen players perform well in the Olympics and struggle in the NBA, Hachimura has a chance to become a long-term fixture for the Wizards this season if he can continue to improve on both ends of the court.
