Does Darius Garland take the next step in his growth?
One of the bright spots for the Cleveland Cavaliers a season ago was the development of Garland. Garland finished last season with 17.4 points, 6.1 assists, and 1.2 steals per game on an efficient 39.5 percent shooting from deep.
Many have labeled Garland as one of the next breakout players at the point guard position in 2021-2022.
Even with Sexton still on the roster, Garland should be handling the ball often for the Cavaliers this season.
And given his growth from last season, I’d expect Cleveland to give him an even larger role in his third year in the NBA.
