There have been trade rumors swirling this NBA offseason that involved the Toronto Raptors. They were a team everyone paid attention to at the deadline and once again once the NBA Draft and free agency rolled around as well.
Leading up to the draft, there was some chatter about the Raptors possibly moving the No. 4 overall pick. Nothing ended up coming to fruition, as they selected Florida State power forward Scottie Barnes.
Going back to the NBA trade deadline, Kyle Lowry was the biggest trade chip being discussed. He ended up staying put but found a new home with the Miami Heat in free agency. He landed in South Beach as part of a sign-and-trade deal.
Toronto landed Goran Dragic, Precious Achiuwa, and a future second-round pick in the swap, a far cry from the offers reportedly on the table at the NBA trade deadline.

Another player that has been involved in some rumors is Pascal Siakam. The Raptors are in an awkward spot, as they can reload and try to make a run at the postseason again, or retool and rebuild the roster.
They seem to be leaning toward making another run, as Siakam remains on the team as we enter training camp, the organization likes him and the feeling is mutual. But, if Toronto changes course, several teams would try to acquire them.
One of the teams could be the San Antonio Spurs. What could a swap between Toronto and San Antonio look like? Let’s take a look at this hypothetical trade between the two teams centered on Siakam.
