Buddy Hield – Sacramento Kings
The Sacramento Kings have missed the playoffs for the last 15 seasons and it seems like this year will be the record-breaking 16th straight season the Kings will miss the playoffs. Sacramento just has no stability in their front office and as a result, there has been no stability on this roster.
De’Aaron Fox is a building block they have for the future, as are guys like Tyrese Haliburton and Davion Mitchell, but Buddy Hield is a very expendable player in Sacramento. The Kings even looked at potentially trading Hield this offseason to the Lakers for a trade package that consisted of Kyle Kuzma, Montrezl Harrell, and a draft pick!
Sacramento is very open to the idea of trading Buddy Hield and if a team is willing to take on his contract, they will most likely be open to negotiations.
Buddy Hield is owed $61.5M over the next three seasons and given that they have no cap space, moving his contract would definitely be favorable for the Kings, especially if they can get back a young talent or two and a draft pick.

Through about 4.5 seasons with the Kings now, he has averaged 17.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.6 assists while shooting 40.9% from three-point range, making him a key perimeter shooting threat for numerous teams around the league.
Regardless of what he says, Buddy Hield would probably prefer to go to a team that has a shot to make the playoffs other than lose in Sacramento, which is why he is definitely a player fans would like to see on the move.
