Jimmy Butler is a very underrated player in this league and he oftentimes does not get the credit he deserves. The 5x All-Star was the main reason why the Miami Heat made the NBA Finals in 2020 and after struggling last year, Pat Riley and this Heat front-office made it a priority to go out and get Butler the help he deserves.
Bam Adebayo is another solid All-Star talent they have on this roster, but in order for Miami to contend with the likes of the Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference, they needed to add that third All-Star-caliber player.
So, the Heat cleared up some cap space this offseason and they were able to acquire Kyle Lowry via a sign-and-trade with the Toronto Raptors, sending Goran Dragic and Precious Achiuwa to Toronto in the process.
With Butler, Lowry, and Adebayo, plus key additions in P.J. Tucker, Markieff Morris Dewayne Dedmon, and others, the Heat are suddenly a championship-contending team again in the Eastern Conference, Whether or not they can compete with the likes of the Nets and Bucks is yet to be seen, but when looking at their roster, there is no reason why they cannot be a Top-4 team in the east this upcoming year.

However, this does not mean Miami is done making moves. They are just under the tax line for the 2021-22 season, making the potential moves they can make limited due to being hardcapped, but Tyler Herro is a young player that could have a handful of value on the trade market.
Herro was drafted 13th overall in 2019 and through two seasons, he has averaged 14.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, and has shot 37.5% from three-point land, making him a great perimeter threat next to another sharpshooter in Duncan Robinson.

Miami is very high on Herro both now and for the future, so it is unlikely that they will look to move him at all, but by midseason, if the Heat wants to add another key talent to their roster to potentially make another NBA Finals run, they could look to leverage their young guard.
Again, the Heat do have some financial challenges to making trades right now and would have to pretty much send out equal contracts to what they would be receiving, but there are some players they could pursue if they made Tyler Herro available in trade talks.
