Kyle Anderson – Memphis Grizzlies
The Memphis Grizzlies are not actively trying to move any of their core players at the moment, but the Grizzlies have shown this offseason that they are open to adding future value to their team.
Who knows what Miami could offer up for him that would be appealing to Memphis, but Kyle Anderson should absolutely be a potential forward target for them entering the 2021-22 season.
The veteran combo-forward is entering his 8th season in the NBA and in the final year of his contract, he could be a guy the Grizzlies look to move for draft picks and/or a young talent. Anderson is only owed $9.9M this season, making him a key target for plenty of playoff-contending teams around the league.
Last season in Memphis, Kyle Anderson averaged 12.4 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.2 steals and he shot 46.8% from the floor, 36% from three-point land. Given his versatility to defend multiple positions, as well as be a “utility” player on offense, Anderson can do a little bit of everything for his team, which is why the Heat could use him.

Jimmy Butler cannot do everything for this team and if either Lowry or Adebayo are sidelined, the Heat does not have any other reliable options on their roster.
P.J. Tucker is more of a defensive threat than anything else, Markieff Morris is an on-and-off bench option and neither Max Strus nor KZ Okpala has established themselves as being consistent options on the wing.

Not only is Kyle Anderson a consistent wing, but he is also a guy who can play the power forward position and do many things to help his team win games. This would be a really solid addition for the Miami Heat, especially if they can keep Tyler Herro in the process.
