How This Trade Impacts Los Angeles Clippers
The Los Angeles Clippers make another trade to revamp their backcourt in this hypothetical deal. The recently acquired Eric Bledsoe is on the move once again, this time for Goran Dragic.
Dragic has shown that he can still produce when on the court despite his injuries in recent seasons. Bledsoe, on the other hand, has struggled in recent seasons. It also seems to be good luck to move on from him, as the last two teams he played on, the Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks, met in the NBA Finals to conclude this season.
Offensively, the Clippers are getting a player that can still score the basketball. They need to find more options to put the ball in the basket, especially with Kawhi Leonard likely being sidelined for the season.
Dragic averaged 13.4 points per game last season and shot a respectable 43.2 percent from the field and 37.3 percent from the 3-point line. He would provide Los Angeles with a player that can run the offense as well, taking more pressure off of Paul George to run the show.

Financially, this trade is a win for the Clippers as well. Dragic is on an expiring deal, clearing some cap space from their ledger. On the other hand, Bledsoe is signed for two more seasons, but the last season is only partially guaranteed. Even getting out from the partially guaranteed money is good for Los Angeles.
