Terrence Ross – Orlando Magic
All season long, Terrence Ross dealt with multiple injuries, including back spasms, which forced him to miss games late in the year and he only played in 46 games with the Magic last year as a result.
However, near the midway point in the season, Ross was getting attention for the Sixth-Man of the Year award because he was one of the best bench scorers in the league behind Jordan Clarkson.
While he only played in just over 60% of the Orlando Magic’s games during the 2020-21 season, Terrence Ross still managed to finish the year with 666 total bench points, ranking him 10th in the league in bench scoring by a player. The veteran wing can help any team right away due to his scoring contributions off the bench, which is why the Suns could be interested in him.
Not to mention, Terrence Ross’ contract is pretty favorable given the production he brings, as the veteran wing is only owed $12.5M this season and then $11.5M during the 2022-23 season. One of the downfalls of the Suns in the NBA Finals last season was the fact that they really did not have that deep of a bench.

Cameron Payne and Cameron Johnson were really the only two scoring threats for this team off the bench, which is why a guy like Terrence Ross could be of big use to them.
For his career, Ross has averaged 11.4 points, 2.9 rebounds and has shot 36.7% from three-point range, while coming off the bench in about 71% of the total games he has played in the NBA.
