The Chicago Bulls have added a lot of talent to their roster this NBA offseason. But, sometimes, to add talent, you have to sacrifice something in return.

Chicago’s first move of the offseason was landing point guard Lonzo Ball. Ball could have any offer sheet that he signed matched by the Pelicans as a restricted free agent with the New Orleans Pelicans.

Even after clearing cap space, the Pelicans oddly elected to not match the four-year, $85 million offer sheet. Instead, they agreed to a sign-and-trade, acquiring Tomas Satoransky, Garrett Temple, and a future second-round pick for Ball, who landed in the Windy City.

The Bulls would pull off another sign-and-trade a little later, this time involving DeMar DeRozan and the San Antonio Spurs. DeRozan and Chicago agreed to a three-year, $85 million deal. San Antonio then acquired Thaddeus Young, Al-Farouq Aminu, a future first-round pick and two future second-round picks for him.

A third sign-and-trade deal was completed, this time of the three-team variety. Chicago traded Lauri Markkanen to the Cleveland Cavaliers, who sent Larry Nance Jr. to the Portland Trail Blazers. Portland then sent Derrick Jones Jr. and a future first-round pick to Chicago.

With training camp on the horizon, it is clear that the Bulls could use some more depth, especially on the wing. Could Orlando Magic veteran Terrence Ross fit the bill? Let’s take a look at a hypothetical trade that lands Ross in Chicago.
