1. New York Knicks

The New York Knicks should be aggressive in pursuing Karl-Anthony Towns if he were on the trade block. Towns is from New Jersey, which means he would likely welcome the idea of coming to play for the Knicks.

It was a successful season for the Knicks. They surprised the league with 41 games, which was good enough for the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference. They were overwhelmed by Atlanta in the first round, and they showed that they still had plenty of work to do.

The Knicks added both Evan Fournier and Kemba Walker to the rotation. Randle received a contract extension, and now they could solidify the unit with Towns.

Pulling off a trade for Towns would provide the Knicks with an immediate boost and help further to solidify New York’s standing within the Eastern Conference. Additionally, the team could have an easier time recruiting other stars to New York in the future.
