The 2020-21 NBA season ended with the Milwaukee Bucks hoisting the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy into the air. Still, some of the underrated storylines of the season consisted of breakout stars making names for themselves and former All-Stars making comebacks. 

Julius Randle, the 2020-21 Most Improved Player, Jaylen Brown, Zach LaVine, Mike Conley, and Zion Williamson all made their All-Star debuts in terms of breakout players.

Christian Wood, Jerami Grant, Michael Porter Jr., Terry Rozier, De’Aaron Fox, and others all had tremendous breakout seasons as well, aligning them to have big 2021-22 seasons. 

Then, we saw former well-known players like Derrick Rose, Reggie Jackson, and Carmelo Anthony put together great comeback seasons.
