Washington Wizards Receive: C/F Kristaps Porzingis
Dallas Mavericks Receive: F Davis Bertans, C Thomas Bryant, F Isaiah Todd
This would be a big trade between the Dallas Mavericks and Washington Wizards. Zach Buckley of Bleacher Report shared this potential deal. The Mavericks are looking to get off of a big contract and the Wizards are looking to make a splash to upgrade their roster. They would be a match in that sense.
The Mavericks finally find a trade partner for Porzingis, who has received very little interest around the league, and rightfully so. His value isn’t very high, especially after such a poor performance in the postseason.
Dallas resets a little bit by moving on from Porzingis, sending him to Washington. In exchange, the Wizards send Davis Bertans, Thomas Bryant, and Isaiah Todd to Dallas.
That is a solid package for the Mavericks, as Bertans can help replicate some of what Porzingis brought to the table offensively. Bryant tore his ACL in January but could return early in the season, adding some depth to the center spot.

Isaiah Todd was the No. 31 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft and is an intriguing prospect the Mavericks could try and develop for their frontcourt.
