Would this trade make sense for the Atlanta Hawks?
The Atlanta Hawks made their moves in free agency last season. The front office was extremely aggressive in hopes of building a winner, and it seemed to work.
Atlanta came out of nowhere and seemed to peak earlier than expected, but now it is all about staying near the top. This is what they have a chance to do with their stars in place.
Young and Collins are the future of the franchise. This is why the Hawks made it a priority. Collins turned down an extension at the beginning of the season, but the two sides could agree. Young did not take much effort with the number he was offered.
Now, the Hawks could look to retool the roster with certain players being moved. If a first-round pick is involved, it is already a win. Reddish did not play a huge role for the team, which means they could test the waters on his value. The Hawks could use that added asset to make a blockbuster trade for a star.

This is not a blockbuster deal that would help Atlanta win a title, but it would give them another depth piece with Osman. Not having to pay all of these developing young players simultaneously could be helpful for the Hawks while adding an intriguing asset.
