Los Angeles Clippers: Avery Bradley

It is definitely surprising to still see Avery Bradley as a free agent, but at the same time, his productivity has declined a bit over the years. He played a small role on the 2019-20 Lakers championship team, but last year, he played for both the Heat and Rockets, only playing in a total of 27 games between both teams.

The former 2x All-Defensive player seems to be nearing the end of his career, but the Los Angeles Clippers could very well be a team that looks to give him another shot to win a title.

Bradley is 30-years-old now and is definitely not the impactful player he once was, but he is definitely still an above-average player who could make a difference as a “3-and-D” player in the Clippers’ backcourt.

With Kawhi Leonard out to begin the season, all the weight of the Clippers organization falls on the shoulders of both Paul George and Reggie Jackson. The Clippers franchise will have an “all-hands-on-deck” mindset entering the year.

Leonard being out means that the Clippers will need more bodies and experienced players, which is why Bradley is a guy that makes sense for them to target.

He is a former defensive mastermind and NBA champion, which is exactly the talent the Clippers need next to Reggie Jackson and Eric Bledsoe in the backcourt, especially since the rest of their depth consists of young people rookies.
