There are not many big-name players left on the open market for teams to sign in NBA free agency. This means some secondary options can begin to get some looks and this includes Wesley Matthews.
When looking at current situations, it is likely that rebuilding teams will continue to take a flier on younger options that do not come with a high price tag.
On the other end of the spectrum, win-now teams can add the veterans, who also come with a lower price tag, but might not have as much time. This is a chance for a proven player to land a ring at some point.
Matthews recently spent time with the Los Angeles Lakers. At this point, he is one of the top remaining players and he could be holding out a bit to see where he can find the best situation.

There could be plenty of win-now teams looking to sign a player like Matthews who could provide some scoring, shooting, and depth coming off the bench.
It will be interesting to see which teams will be in on Wesley Matthews moving forward. When it comes down to it, these three teams could be near the top of the list.
