Ever since they lost to the Atlanta Hawks in the playoffs, the Philadelphia 76ers have been in the news almost every day with Ben Simmons’ inclusion in NBA trade rumors.

The former No. 1 overall pick has been deemed a “liability” by many across the league because of his inconsistent play on offense, but the 76ers have made him available in trade talks.

For months now, the 76ers have been fielding calls and sending out calls in attempts to trade Ben Simmons, but they have been unable to do so. Now, on the last day of August, Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that Ben Simmons no longer wants to be a member of the Philadelphia 76ers and wants to be traded.

With training camps beginning in about four weeks, the 76ers seem to be on the clock now to get a deal done, especially since they would like to do so before the season actually begins.

There still is plenty of time, but now that it is known that Simmons wants out of Philadelphia, his value could wind up declining, resulting in Philly not being able to get what they want in a trade package.

This whole situation is just such a bad look for a former No. 1 overall pick and his team in the 76ers, which is why they are going to have to take the best deal that comes their way. This could very well result in them trading the All-Star big man to the Golden State Warriors.

With Curry, Thompson, and Green, the Warriors are automatically going to be a contender again in the Western Conference, assuming they are healthy, but they also have a ton of assets they could offer up that could wind up being of use to the Philadelphia 76ers in their pursuit of a title.

With this said, let’s take a look at the best trade package the Golden State Warriors can offer the 76ers for Ben Simmons.
