1. Knows What It Takes To Win With Los Angeles

Anyone that joins a team that includes LeBron James knows that there will be pressure to win basketball games. The Lakers are looking to win another title with James and Anthony Davis leading the way, and some players aren’t cut out for that kind of pressure. Rajon Rondo is not one of them.

Rondo was magnificent during the Lakers’ title run in 2020. He was an integral part of their bench unit and played extremely well in the Orlando Bubble.

Rondo averaged 8.9 points, 6.6 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 24.7 minutes per game. He made 40 percent of his 3-point attempts as well, knocking down timely shots for the Lakers throughout the 16 games he played in.

The work that he puts in is something the young players such as Talen Horton-Tucker, Malik Monk and Kendrick Nunn joined the Lakers for. They want to learn how to prepare and Rondo will present an excellent mentor to learn from.
