1. CJ McCollum

Damian Lillard has not requested a trade from the Portland Trail Blazers and has vehemently denied any such reports on social media. Despite being with Team USA in Tokyo for the Olympics, he has still found time to debunk reports on Twitter.

While Lillard has not requested a trade, that does not mean a trade won’t happen. Unless Lillard has a change of heart and Portland goes into a full rebuild, they need to make some changes and his backcourt mate CJ McCollum could be on the move.

The Trail Blazers need to shake things up after being eliminated from the postseason in the first round four of the last five years. They want to remain competitive during the 2021-22 season and swapping out CJ McCollum for pieces that will make a more balanced roster is the quickest way to do so.

CJ McCollum is a borderline All-Star and has turned into one of the best scoring guards in the NBA. Several teams would love to add his scoring punch to their roster.
