The Boston Celtics have had as busy of an offseason as any franchise in the NBA. They have changed at every level of their brain trust and on the roster.
Long-time general manager Danny Ainge is no longer overseeing operations, as he stepped down and was replaced by Brad Stevens. Stevens, who was the head coach, will be replaced by Ime Udoka, one of the most highly-regarded assistant coaches in the NBA.
With the power structure in place, Stevens got to work on shaking up the roster. His first move as general manager was trading Kemba Walker to the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for Moses Brown and Al Horford. He later flipped Brown to the Dallas Mavericks in exchange for Josh Richardson.
A third trade was done, as Kris Dunn and Bruno Fernando were acquired in a three-team deal with the Atlanta Hawks and Sacramento Kings that sent Tristian Thompson out west.

Enes Kanter and Dennis Schroder were signed in free agency, while Richarson, Marcus Smart and Robert Williams III all signed contract extensions with the team.
Stevens has been active in his first offseason at the helm, but he may not be done yet. Some more depth in the frontcourt, specifically power forward, could be used. Thaddeus Young could fit the bill.
What would it take to get Thaddeus Young from the San Antonio Spurs? Let’s take a look at this hypothetical trade.
