Would this trade make sense for the Washington Wizards?
The New Youk Knicks are in need of a superstar. They need that player who could get a bucket at the end of the game. This was apparent in their first-round series against the Atlanta Hawks. The Knicks were eliminated in five games and struggled to compete.
It has already been a productive offseason in New York. Fournier signed a free-agent deal while Kemba Walker also came over after being bought out by the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Randle signed a contract extension after being named the most improved player in the league. The Knicks finally have a core to build around and a player like Beal can tie it all together.
This is a Knicks team that is desperate for success and has to try and keep up with their crosstown rivals. It’s a necessity if the team has aspirations of going deep in the playoffs.

Beal would bring explosiveness immediately on the offensive end of the floor. He is a legitimate scorer at all three levels and can lead a team on both ends of the floor. This is a player the Knicks need if they want to compete in the Eastern Conference right away.
