The Indiana Pacers were one team that many people were keeping their eyes on coming into the 2021 NBA offseason. Indiana fired head coach Nate Bjorkgren after one season with the team, bringing Rick Carlisle back to the franchise.
With the coaching upgrade on the sideline, many expected Indiana to begin reshaping the roster. Center Myles Turner and point guard Malcolm Brogdon were two of the players mentioned most in rumors.
Turner has been on the trade block for a while, as he was offered to the Boston Celtics last year before the season began. The franchise has long considered breaking up their frontcourt pairing of him and Damontas Sabonis. Brogdon has more recently been included in trade rumors.
The Pacers offered Brogdon to the Philadelphia 76ers earlier this offseason, along with the No. 13 overall pick, in exchange for Ben Simmons. Philadelphia declined that offer, but Indiana is now in a bit of an uncomfortable place.

They have their reservations about Brogdon as their long-term point guard, and knowing he was offered in a trade could make for some awkward moments. He has also butt heads with each head coach he has had in Indiana, creating some waves as well.
Should the team push to make a trade for him, there are a number of teams that would be interested in the former Rookie of the Year. Here are three teams who should still pursue a trade for Brogdon.
