2. Milwaukee Bucks
The Milwaukee Bucks won the 2021 NBA Championship, but that doesn’t mean they do not have needs on the roster. Their biggest need, even after this offseason, is still in the frontcourt.
Retaining Bobby Portis was an excellent move, as he signed under market value for the second straight offseason to play with the Bucks. But, they were not able to keep P.J. Tucker in the fold, as he signed a two-year, $15 million deal with the Miami Heat in free agency.
Replacing what Tucker brought to the team isn’t an easy task, but Robert Covington is someone that could do it more than adequately. Like Tucker, Covington would provide some hard-nosed defense from the frontcourt with the ability to defend anyone on the opposing team.
His 3-point shooting would play well for the Bucks as well, as he is a career 35.9 percent shooter from distance.

The Bucks did sign Semi Ojeleye in the offseason to help replace Tucker, but they could still use some more depth in the frontcourt. Brook Lopez is the only player listed as a center currently on the roster. Portis is capable of filling that spot, but that would leave power forward thin as a result.
Adding one more established veteran to the frontcourt to help offset the loss of Tucker should be in the Bucks’ plans.
