The Los Angeles Lakers had one glaring weakness last season; their 3-point shooting. They were 21st in the NBA in 3-point percentage, 25th in 3-point makes and 24th in 3-point attempts. The Washington Wizards were the only playoff team with worse 3-point numbers than the Lakers.

This offseason they have upgraded the 3-point shooting in a major way. Malik Monk, Kent Bazemore, Carmelo Anthony and Wayne Ellington all shot at least 40 percent from the 3-point line last season.

They will all give the Lakers more spacing offensively, but why stop there? JJ Redick would be a great addition to the team as another ring-chasing target.

JJ Redick is a 41.5 percent 3-point shooter in his career and would give the Lakers yet another long-range sniper they would roll out there.

At 37-years old, JJ Redick may not have many more opportunities at winning a championship in the NBA. The Lakers would provide him that opportunity, with the only real obstacle being that Redick wants to remain as close to his family as possible.
