Would this trade would make sense for the Toronto Raptors?

Goran Dragic came to the Toronto Raptors in the sign-and-trade deal that sent Kyle Lowry to the Miami Heat. It is unknown how Toronto views Dragic but they could get a better option if they feel the need. Richardson is an intriguing name for the Raptors because of his versatility and ability to score on the perimeter.

This is what the Raptors might be looking for. Richardson is a career 35.8% three-point shooter and scores 12.3 points per contest. In an extended role with the Raptors, those numbers could go up. He would be a fit next to VanVleet on the perimeter in a lineup that could use some more firepower.

Kyle Lowry is an impossible player to replace in Toronto so they should not try to. This is where they can just load up on perimeter talent to help moving forward.

The Raptors need to do what it takes to get back near the top of the Eastern Conference. This is a position they have grown accustomed to but have fallen back recently.
