Would this trade make sense for the Phoenix Suns?
This is not a move that the Phoenix Suns need to make to remain near the top but it is one to take them to the next level as contenders. Jonathan Isaac came into the league with high expectations but he has been unable to reach them because of injuries.
On a team like the Suns, Isaac might be able to find his true identity and would thrive playing alongside playmakers like Chris Paul and Devin Booker. Paul is a point guard that has a history of making his big men better. That was clear this past season working with Deandre Ayton as well.
Isaac has a promising offensive skill-set but it is all about if he is able to stay on the floor on a consistent basis. Phoenix has a deep backcourt and Isaac would just be added to the mix. This is an ideal situation for Isaac because he would not have to do too much right away. This would allow him to develop at his own pace.
The defensive versatility that Isaac brings to the table could help the Suns to reach new heights on that end. He’s not only the type of on-ball defender that can switch and guard different positions, he has the tools to provide rim protection and be a force as a weak-side help defender.

The Suns have a chance to make it back to the finals this season if all goes right. This is a move that could help if Isaac is the player that was expected coming into the league.
