Bradley Beal
Once again, the New Orleans Pelicans are likely going to need to land an All-Star caliber player in a trade for Zion Williamson to sign long-term.
Williamson wants to win championships and New Orleans hasn’t shown any signs of being a franchise that can help him achieve his goals.
So with his future extension with the organization looming, the Pelicans should inquire about Bradley Beal, who may or may not be available via trade from the Washington Wizards.
Of course, Beal will need to formally request a trade before he’s even an option for New Orleans. But given the trade of Russell Westbrook and the coaching change this offseason, Beal’s time in the nation’s capital could be coming to a close sooner rather than later.

While Beal would probably prefer a team that is closer to contention, maybe the prospects of playing alongside Williamson would interest him.
On the other side, Williamson would likely welcome the idea of forming a duo with one of the most prolific scorers in the NBA.
