Buddy Hield

There is never a time where teams in the NBA aren’t looking to insert more shooting into their rotation. Provided that, Buddy Hield should be someone that garners a ton of interest in the coming months.

It almost seemed like a done deal that Hield was headed to the Lakers, but the deal fell through when Los Angeles conducted a trade for Westbrook.

Reports suggest that the Lakers haven’t given up on their pursuit of Hield. However, Los Angeles doesn’t have much of anything to offer the Sacramento Kings for Hield right now.

With De’Aaron Fox, Tyrese Haliburton, and Davion Mitchell expected to be the future backcourt for the Kings, Hield’s role with the team is rapidly fading.

Nearly every team that has their sights on competing for a title in 2021-2022 should be attempting to acquire Hield.
