5. Myles Turner To Washington Wizards

Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner has been his name involved in a ton of NBA trade rumors. They have been plentiful this offseason, but trade interest in him goes back to even the last offseason when the Pacers engaged in trade talks with the Boston Celtics.

Needing to shake up their roster, the Pacers have once again considered breaking up their frontcourt duo of Domantas Sabonis and Turner. With Sabonis making two straight All-Star games, he is unlikely to be on the move, so it is Turner who will be packing his bags.

The New York Knicks and Charlotte Hornets are two teams that have been linked to Turner this offseason. The Celtics were again as well, but we’d love to see Turner end up with the Washington Wizards.

The Wizards and Pacers have already completed a trade this offseason, as Aaron Holiday and the 31st pick in the 2021 NBA Draft were sent to Washington for the 22nd pick, which the Wizards acquired from the Los Angeles Lakers. So, the two sides have experience working with each other.

Turner would help solidify a Wizards’ center position that lost Alex Len and Robin Lopez in free agency. Daniel Gafford and the recently acquired Montrezl Harrell are currently on the Wizards’ depth chart, but adding another veteran such as Turner wouldn’t hurt.

With the Wizards operating as if Bradley Beal won’t be going anywhere, they need to continue upgrading the roster so that this team can make a playoff push this upcoming season.
