1. Romeo Langford, Boston Celtics
There was a lot of optimism surrounding Romeo Langford when he entered the NBA Draft out of Indiana. The Boston Celtics selected Langford with the 14th overall pick, but he has not yet done much in his NBA career.
Injuries are a major factor in Romeo Langford failing to have an impact on the court yet in his career. He played through a thumb injury during his freshman year with the Hoosiers and the injuries have not stopped piling up with the Celtics.
Romeo Langford has gone through wrist, groin, knee and ankle ailments in addition to the wrist. As one of the top players in the 2018 class, it is hard to pinpoint what kind of player he can be with the injuries he has dealt with. The Celtics also don’t have much playing time to give him.
Boston’s two best players, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are both wing players. Aaron Nesmith and Payton Pritchard have been selected in recent years and are also wing players. Josh Richardson was acquired this offseason from the Dallas Mavericks and you guessed it, another wing player.

Buried on the depth chart, a change of scenery would do Romeo Langford well. There won’t be much playing time available to him with the Celtics and he needs consistent minutes to see what he can do at this level.
