Goran Dragic
Goran Dragic landed with the Toronto Raptors this offseason in the Kyle Lowry sign-and-trade deal with the Miami Heat. Lowry signed a three-year, $90 million deal to go to South Beach. Dragic, Precious Achiuwa and a future second-round pick were sent to Toronto in return.
Recently, Dragic set off quite a firestorm on social media with some quotes following the trade. The clip in question is not in English, so something could have been lost in translation. But, translators are saying that Dragic shared that Toronto is not his preferred destination and he has higher ambitions.
Not the way you want to start with a new organization, but Goran Dragic has since apologized for his comments.
What will ultimately happen with Dragic? While he wants to play for the Dallas Mavericks and the Mavericks want him, Dallas does not want to trade for him. They are hoping that he gets bought out, which is highly unlikely at this time.

The Raptors have a great trade chip on their hands in Dragic. They are going to hold onto him until a trade offer comes along that they like. Until then, he will be a member of the Toronto Raptors and will not be rerouted at this time.
