The Cleveland Cavaliers were one of the worst teams in the NBA this season but they are still found a way to get into the news. This is because a recent trade rumors surrounding Collin Sexton. He has not been moved just yet but a deal could be on the horizon watch the free agency is over.
The Cavaliers have made some big moves recently. It began when they landed the third-overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft and used it on an Evan Mobley.
In NBA free agency, Jarrett Allen signed a five-year contract worth $100 million and all of a sudden, the frontcourt for the Cavaliers has been solidified.
It is time to move onto the Sexton rumors and that is where Cleveland’s minds should be going. Sexton is eligible for a rookie max contract this offseason but it is unlikely that he is going to get it from Cleveland.
If Sexton is truly available in a trade, the New Orleans Pelicans should take a flyer. They acquired Devonte’ Graham in a sign-and-trade deal with the Charlotte Hornets and this was supposed to give Zion Williamson some more to work with.
