Jared Dudley
Over the past two seasons, Jared Dudley hasn’t played much for the Lakers, logging an average of only 7.8 minutes per game in 57 appearances.
Dudley, who turned 36 years old in July, isn’t asked to contribute much on the court anymore as he nears the end of his career. However, Dudley has been an integral part of Los Angeles’ roster, operating as a marquee bench player as the Lakers won the title in 2020.
Teams always have glue guys on their bench that while they don’t play many minutes, they cheer on their teammates to boost morale and they can help the development of the younger players.
Dudley has made it clear that he’d love to return to Los Angeles for another season. But with the number of moves that the Lakers have made, there may not be room for him to return.

In the event that Dudley is available, bringing him in to be an end-of-the-bench contributor would be beneficial for an inexperienced squad.
