In what is a surprise to no one, the New York Knicks have been an extremely active team in free agency thus far. The Knicks came into the offseason with an expansive amount of money to use, and they’ve spent quite a bit to bolster the roster.
Retaining players was a main focus for New York as they brought back Alec Burks, Nerlens Noel, Derrick Rose, and Taj Gibson.
Besides signing Julius Randle to an extension, the Knicks also inked a deal with Evan Fournier, and they are expected to sign Kemba Walker once he gets bought out by the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Seeing that the Knicks have made a flurry of moves to strengthen their roster, they would benefit from rounding out their roster with cheap veterans.
