Boston Celtics
The Celtics are a team with limited cap space and Josh Hart is a young player that is not necessarily looking to take a minimum, one-year deal, so how could Boston end up with Hart? Kris Dunn is likely coming over from Atlanta on a $5M contract and the Celtics also have Romeo Langford ($3.8M) and Grant Williams ($2.62M) all as potential trade assets to free up some cap space.
Not to mention, Jabari Parker also has a $2.28M non-guaranteed contract that could free up some more much needed cap room if the Celtics were to go after Josh Hart in a sign-and-trade scenario with the Pelicans.
After making $3.49M on his rookie deal this past year in New Orleans, Hart is likely looking in the range of $6.5M-$9M per year on his next contract, which is definitely something the Boston Celtics can absorb given the contracts they have to deal on their roster.
Bringing in Hart and putting him next to guys like Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum could definitely wind up working out in Boston’s favor, especially since he is a guy that can aid them in rebounding. The Celtics finished 15th in the league this past year in defensive rebounding and adding Hart would definitely help aid them in this area.

Josh Hart is a young, versatile wing that can help a team like the Boston Celtics in many ways, which is why they should strongly consider acquiring him. Romeo Langford, Grant Williams, Kris Dunn and Jabari Parker do not hold as much value as Hart, which is why a move to acquire him would make sense.
