Justise Winslow
When you are strapped for cash like the Los Angeles Clippers are, you need to turn over every rock when looking for talent to upgrade the roster. One potential avenue is a young player that has been unable to find their footing but has shown promise in the past. One player that would fit that bill is Justise Winslow.
Justise Winslow was the 10th overall pick in 2015 but is still only 25-years old. It was not too long ago that the former Duke product was looking like a two-way prospect with point-forward skills. With the Heat in the 2018-19 season, Winslow averaged 12.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.1 steals in 29.7 minutes per game. He also knocked down 37.5 percent of his 3-point attempts.
Then, injuries beset him. Winslow has played in only 37 games since then between the Heat and Memphis Grizzlies. Memphis declined his option for the 2021-22 season, which was worth $13 million.
It was a no-brainer move for Justise Winslow, as he has done nothing to justify that price tag. However, he did do something to earn that contract in the first place and the Clippers would be smart to see if he can return to that production.

Los Angeles was able to revive the career of Nicolas Batum last season and could put Winslow in a position to do the same this upcoming season.
