Los Angeles Clippers
Speaking of title contenders, the Los Angeles Clippers are going to be searching for a point guard this offseason. Do they bring back Reggie Jackson? Or do they elect to target other guys on the open market?
Regardless of what their plan is, they don’t have much money to spend, which could lead to them attempting to conduct a sign-and-trade for one of the bigger-name point guards.
For the Clippers, Kyle Lowry would likely be fond of the idea of reuniting with Kawhi Leonard. Both Lowry and Leonard were on the Raptors when Toronto was able to dethrone the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals.
Lowry would bring a defensive-edge to the point guard position while also maintaining defensive versatility given his ability to use his strength against bigger matchups. His shot creation would go a long way in addition to running the half-court offense.

A big three of Lowry, Leonard, and Paul George could definitely do some damage in the Western Conference. But once again, if the Clippers want to get involved in the Lowry sweepstakes, they’d probably have to consider doing a sign-and-trade for the veteran point guard.
