The New York Knicks were one of the most active teams during the 2021 NBA Draft. They entered with picks No. 19, 21, 32 and 58. They made three separate deals on the night as they moved back multiple times.

New York traded the 19th pick to the Charlotte Hornets for a future first-rounder with heavy lottery protections. The 21st pick was sent to the LA Clippers for the 25th pick and a future second-round pick via the Detroit Pistons. With the 25th pick, the Knicks selected Houston guard, Quentin Grimes.

The fun was not done once the second round rolled around. New York traded back from No. 32 with the Oklahoma City Thunder, picking up No. 34 and 36 in the process. With those picks, they nabbed Lithuanian guard Rokas Jokubaitis, who according to the telecast dropped 31 points on LaMelo Ball when he played in Lithuania.

With the 36th pick, the Knicks landed one of the steals in the draft in Miles ‘Duece’ McBride out of West Virginia. He was someone that analysts believed the team would consider with the 21st pick in the draft. With the 58th pick, the Knicks selected uber-athletic Texas big man, Jericho Sims.
