Washington Wizards Receive: Ben Simmons, Tobias Harris, Shake Milton, 2022 first-round pick, 2024 first-round pick

Now, let’s get absolutely crazy for the final trade package for Bradley Beal. Let’s say that the 76ers are willing to be ultra-aggressive in ensuring that they are the team that comes out victorious in the Beal sweepstakes (if they even happen).

Could Philadelphia offer both Simmons and Tobias Harris in the trade, along with Milton? It’s unlikely, but it’s also a possibility given Morey’s nature of making trades that he believes puts his team in a better position to compete for a title.

But for the financial part of the trade to work, the 76ers would also need to take on Davis Bertans.

Bertans is an efficient three-point shooter who has made 40.7 percent of the threes he’s taken in his career. However, while he’d improve the shooting on Philadelphia’s roster, Bertans is a liability on defense and he is owed $65 million over the next four seasons.

Even though I don’t envision the 76ers moving both Simmons and Harris in the same deal, if Morey desperately believes Beal is the missing piece, then he may do anything to make sure it happens.
