The Philadelphia 76ers have one big question looming as the offseason officially got underway with the Milwaukee Bucks defeating the Phoenix Suns in the NBA Finals; what will they do with Ben Simmons?

The 76ers’ season ended prematurely when they were eliminated by the Atlanta Hawks in the second round of the playoffs. Philadelphia had done everything they needed in the regular season to secure home-court throughout the playoffs but was unable to make it count in the postseason.

Simmons was a big reason why they were unable to get over the hump. His disappearing act on offense put immense pressure on his teammates to perform, as Simmons was hesitant to even attempt dunks in the game.

The frustrations boiled over following the Game 7 loss to the Hawks, as head coach Doc Rivers and Joel Embiid both shared some quotes that make it seem like a divorce between Simmons and the team could occur this offseason.
