Heading into the NBA offseason, the New York Knicks have a few pressing needs. Acquiring a point guard is atop their list, but they also should be on the lookout for another scorer that can complement RJ Barrett and Julius Randle.
If that player comes in a bundle, such as what Damian Lillard would provide, great! If not, the team will have to look for other avenues to upgrade the roster around their two cornerstones. Luckily for New York, there are plenty of options.
At point guard, numerous veterans will be available this summer to sign in free agency.
Kyle Lowry, Mike Conley Jr. and Lonzo Ball are some of the top options. For shooting, Duncan Robinson is the cream of the crop in this year’s free agency class, but like Ball, is a restricted free agent.
