The rest of the NBA needs to look out for the Golden State Warriors as they are in prime position to make a big splash this offseason. The last time they were set up to make a big move, they landed Kevin Durant in free agency and won two Larry O’Brien trophies.

While the Warriors don’t have the cap space to sign a player as they did in 2016, they are well equipped to make a splash on the trade market.

There have been numerous All-Stars mentioned as possibly being on the move this offseason. Ben Simmons, Damian Lillard, Bradley Beal and Brandon Ingram among them. All three would be good targets for the Warriors, who have their championship core of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green still intact.

However, with those three now moving out of their primes, it could be time to add some younger talent into the mix. A player like Ingram would make for an intriguing target.

There have been whispers that Ingram does not see himself as a long-term fit alongside Zion Williamson, the new face of the New Orleans Pelicans. If he asks for a trade out of town, Golden State should pounce.
