The Boston Celtics will be looking to make a big splash this NBA offseason. It was an underwhelming season for the team and they already made a move in the front office. That could continue onto the court and see some big changes to the lineup.
Brad Stevens made the jump from head coach to front office executive. Danny Ainge decided to step down and Stevens took over as the new president of basketball operations. Now, he will have to figure out how to add more depth, especially in the frontcourt.
Boston finished seventh in the Eastern Conference this season and were eliminated in the first round by the Brooklyn Nets. For Boston to stay in their win-now mode, there will have to see some moves made.
The Minnesota Timberwolves are not in that win-now mode. This means they will be on the other side looking to sell this offseason. There are plenty of names and Karl-Anthony Towns will be the first mentioned. This is because he is the biggest name on the roster.
